What stays local
Parent labels, incomes, work patterns, child details and care fees remain in local browser storage by default.
Share cards and scenario links
Public share-card images exclude parent labels, child names and income figures. A scenario link contains the numeric inputs and care details needed to recreate the estimate, with names replaced by generic labels. The figures are encoded in the link; they are not encrypted. Anyone with the link can view them.
Scenario details use the URL fragment and are removed from the address bar as soon as the calculator opens.
Email provider
ParentMath uses Brevo for requested result emails and opt-in updates. Brevo states that its primary data hosting is in France and Germany. ParentMath sends the email address, the displayed estimate, its period, the calculator used and the consent record. Parent labels, child names, income inputs and care fee inputs are not sent.
The result email and update subscription are separate provider requests. Update emails use double opt-in, so the address is not subscribed until the confirmation link is used. Every update includes an unsubscribe option.
The childcare-centre pilot enquiry uses a Brevo-hosted form. A work email submitted there is placed in a dedicated pilot-enquiry list so ParentMath can reply about the requested centre calculator. It is not added to marketing unless the person gives separate marketing consent.
Analytics
Google Analytics records page visits, traffic sources and privacy-safe calculator events, including calculator completion. Page locations are reduced to the ParentMath route and referring pages are reduced to their origin before analytics starts. ParentMath does not send income, fee, child-name or email values to analytics.
When a ParentMath link contains campaign tags, the browser may keep the source, medium, campaign, content label and landing path for up to 30 days. Values containing email-style or URL-style characters are rejected. This limited record is attached only to commercial events such as an email signup request, checkout start, affiliate click or centre enquiry click.
Advertising and cookies
ParentMath may display advertising supplied by Google AdSense after advertising is enabled. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar storage to serve and measure ads based on visits to ParentMath or other websites.

Where consent is required, ParentMath will request it through a Google-certified consent platform before advertising storage is used. Advertising remains disabled until the required account and consent settings are complete.
